Brags and Wags

The Mile High Weimaraner Club has a very diverse membership. Our club members compete in Field Trials, Dog Shows, Hunt Tests, Ratings, Obedience Trials, Agility Trials and Tracking Tests. Our dogs are successful, not only here in Colorado, but all over the country.   Dogs shown below are alphabetical by call-name.

We have a rescue dog who is adding titles to his name.  Dakota Jernigan, SH, NSD - Congrats Shelly and Chuck!  Dakota Earned his SH on Mother's Day!!!!

Ch. Pointblank's Lanyka (Lani), JH, FDJ completed the aforementioned Field Dog Junior title this past September, up in Ontario, Canada. SELECT BITCH TIMES THREE!  The Ruehle’s pretty girl Lani started her quest towards Grand Champion with two wins in Nebraska!  Lani’s Select wins weregood for a total of 3 GCH points! 
Congratulations Walt and Jane!!!

"Patience", Cheyenne's Eleventh Hour, bred and owned by Christine Trujillo was Winner's Bitch at the Weimaraner Club of Albuquerque Specialty Show on 5/13/2011.  She now has 9 points including one major toward her championship!

"Phoenix", bred by Christine Trujillo and owned by Betty Vincent, has proved to be a super athlete, together they make a super team.  After completing Phoenix’s CDX in Obedience and landing on the WCA Top 10, they have now turned their attention to Agility.  They’ve completed all of AKC’s Novice level titles; Phoenix is now – Cheyenne’s Song of the Phoenix CDX, NA, NAP, NJP.

"Race" -  bred and owned by Christine Trujillo was Winners Dog and Best Opposite Sex at the Laramie, WY dog show to finish his Championship with a 3rd major on Memorial Day.  He is now Ch. Cheyenne's UnBridled!


Sparky

"Sparky", Ch. Cheyenne’s Spontaneous Combustion NSD, bred and owned by Christine Trujillo, completed her GRAND Championship in February at the Plum Creek & Colorado Kennel Club dog shows.  She was Select Bitch on Friday and Saturday, Best Opposite Sex on Sunday and Monday.  To earn a Grand Championship, you are required to accumulated 25 points, including 3 major wins.

Ch. Weimshadow Double Barrel Sport, CD,JH,V ,CGC - Sport and SallyJo accomplished everything except his CH in 2010 (Sport got his CH. in 2009).  Congrats SallyJo!



Stoli

The MHWC is proud to announce that on 05/18/2010, the AKC awarded the first AKC Grand Champion award to one of our Weimaraners!  Stoli "GCH CH Monterra's Best Bet MH" was not only the first Weimaraner to get this title, but he was the first DOG to get this title.  AMAZING!  Congratulations to Tim and Stoli. Liz would be SO proud. Stoli will be going to the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba Invitational in Long Beach, California.

"True", Ch. Cheyenne N Foxfire Common Ground, bred  and owned by Christine Trujillo, co-owned with Amy Fast and Torrie Coulter, was piloted to her 1st Rally Novice leg by her 16 year old handler, Torrie Coulter at the Plum Creek Dog show in February.

"Tucker", Cheyenne’s UnDaunted, bred by Christine Trujillo and owned by Richard and Janeen Lust, won a 3 point major at the Colorado Kennel Club Dog Show on 2/21/2011.  He now has 7 points and both of his majors!

Cynisters Time Turner Cando (Turner) went to the 2010 AKC/Eukanuba Invitational in Long Beach, California.  Only the top 25 dogs in each breed are invited and he is in the top 15. He is only 15 months old! Below is a picture of Tad Walden and Turner taking Winners Dog and of Tim Gonzalez running Turner around the ring at the Arapahoe Kennel Club Show in September 2010 - Congratulations Cathy!!! Oh, and Turner is one of our German Wirehair friends!
