Pets as Gifts? Make sure the recipient is ready and able to make a commitment for the life of the pet. Watch the video and think responsibly.
If you are thinking of buying a dog as gift for the holidays, please think twice about doing so. A dog is a 12+ year commitment that should not be entered into lightly. The entire family should help to make the decision and agree to love and care for the dog. Dogs are expensive and Weimaraners can be even more expensive when they aren't given the time and energy they need to stay out of trouble. Watch the short video to the right as a reminder for why getting a puppy for Christmas isn't the best thing to do.
